And here in Columbus, OH, we celebrate springtime with a host of spring activities! The following are just a few exciting adventures that we’re sure you’ll love.

1. Spring has Sprung Into Watercolor

Held at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, this painting class will be held on Thursday, April 20 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. by professional painter and educator Mirian Baranov. Don’t worry if you don’t have any experience; she will teach basic watercolor skills. You can choose your theme, whether it’s flowers, birds, or bunnies, and Mirian will guide you through all the steps.
All materials will be provided. However, if you would like to frame your painting, you’ll need to provide your own frame. The class is for adults and the cost is $42, or $36 for members. 2. Tony Hagood’s Jazz Blossoms

Come out to the Columbus Museum of Art on Sunday, April 30 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the musical stylings of Tony Hagood’s quartet. Their jazz music will celebrate spring with songs like A Blossom Fell, A Flower is a Lovesome Thing, Honeysuckle Rose, and La Vie en Rose. Tickets are $20 for members and $25 for non-members in advance, or $30 at the door. Be sure to check their website for availability! CMA is located at 480 E. Broad St.

3. Gallery Hop

Participate in this legendary Columbus tradition by joining thousands of other visitors on the first Saturday of every month in the Short North Arts District. You’ll enjoy seeing the artwork exhibits from dozens of local galleries and listening to the musical performances as you meander through the streets. There will also be non-traditional art venues, like restaurants, boutiques, and salons displaying works of art. Grab a bite to eat from the local vendors and enjoy a cocktail with friends and family for a relaxing afternoon.
The event will be held on High Street from 3 p.m to 7 p.m. Please drink responsibly and in moderation, and do not drink and drive.
