Service Technician Duties & Responsibilities

Our service technicians are ambassadors of GMC Cadillac service excellence. Review the service technician's duties and responsibilities:

• Collect service orders and discuss completion with advisors
• Complete routine maintenance and repairs on time
• Update service advisors about progress, especially new findings
• Evaluate vehicle performance concerns, inspect the involved components, and formulate/communicate accurate service recommendations
• Attend training classes
• Perform quality assurance checks and vehicle drive tests
• Understand and follow all state, federal, and internal policies governing automotive services
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and customers
