2023 Cadillac Lyriq | Performance Cadillac Columbus near Columbus, OHThe Cadillac family is getting a new member in the 2023 model year: the Cadillac Lyriq. This impressive new model will reshape the way we think about our travels. Below is a crash course to what we know so far about the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq.

All-Electric SUV

The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq is a completely electrified crossover SUV. Cadillac estimates that this plug-in electric vehicle will achieve over 300 miles of range on a full charge. The Lyriq is as strong as it is efficient — it’s estimated that the SUV will deliver 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of instant torque. If you want to make your Lyriq even more of a futuristic vehicle, opt for a model outfitted with the Super Cruise feature. This turns your Cadillac into a self-driving vehicle on over 200,000 miles of roads in the United States and Canada.

Style

The Lyriq is a sharp-looking small SUV that strikes its own style on the streets. It’s topped with a sloping full-glass rooftop that cascades back into an upper spoiler and forward-leaning rear. The front fascia looks unlike anything Cadillac has produced thus far. The traditional grille is replaced with a Black Crystal shield that puts to rest the question of what we should be putting on the front of electric vehicles. At night, the Cadillac crest illuminates the grille, and the vertical taillamps make the Lyriq look good coming and going.

Charging Options

Lyriq owners should consider having a Level 2 AC installed in their home for faster-charging speeds. With this home charging station, you can get up to 52 miles of range for every hour you have your Lyriq plugged in. When you’re on the go, you can use a fast-charging public DC station to get 76 miles of range in only 10 minutes. These charging options allow you to electrify your life with relative ease. As charging stations are made more accessible each year, more drivers in more locations can confidently make the switch to clean energy.

Technology

The 2023 Lyriq will have access to some of the most impressive vehicle technologies on the market. The most obvious of these tech features is the 33-inch diagonal LED display that spans across the dashboard, incorporating both the driver information cluster and the infotainment system. The 19-speaker AKG sound system fills your Lyriq with crisp sound, even offering speakers in your seat headrests. The Active Noise Cancellation technology keeps unwanted outside noises out of the cabin to improve your riding experience.

When Can I Drive It?

Drivers will be able to make reservations for the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq beginning in September of 2021. This electric SUV is slated to be available in the first half of 2022.

Though we can’t take a test drive of the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq just yet, we look forward to it with bated breath. When it finally arrives, check with our team at Performance Cadillac Columbus to schedule your test drive of this amazing new Cadillac model.
