The 2024 XT6 offers buyers a choice between two different powertrains that deliver great performance and either front- or all-wheel drive. The first available engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that achieves 235 horsepower and 258 pounds of torque, while the second option is a 3.6-liter six-cylinder unit that pumps 310 horsepower and 271 pounds of torque. Every XT6 comes with a standard nine-speed automatic transmission.
When it comes to fuel consumption and efficiency, the four-cylinder powertrain configuration is rated at 21 miles per gallon in the city and 27 mpg on the highway. FWD models powered by the six-cylinder turbocharged engine, on the other hand, get EPA estimates of 19 mpg and 26 mpg, respectively. AWD XT6s achieve 18 mpg and 25 mpg, respectively.
